Our Story
URGENT: Support 10th Chippenham Scouts After Flooding.

On Monday 25 November, storm Bert has left the Chippenham Scout Hut under several feet of contaminated water, causing potential damage to the building and much of the scout equipment.

They are working hard to secure temporary accommodation to keep the sessions running for over 100 young people who rely on the leaders —but they need your help!

They've launched a Go Fund Me page to raise funds for:
Temporary meeting spaces,
Replacing lost equipment,
and resources needed for upcoming sessions.

As you can imagine, the work load for the Board of Trustees and Leaders, has increased dramatically since the flood.
The Scout Association is run by volunteers. Going forward they need to increase the size of their Board of Trustees and appoint an Administrator. Please get in touch if you can help.

If working with young people is more your thing, they are always looking for new volunteers to support their various sections (4-14 year olds), just email the group today

Every donation, big or small, will help them get back on our feet.

If you can help by donating what you can, please visit the GoFundMe page.

Thank you from the 10th Chippenham Scout Group! Together, we can overcome this challenge.
